Step 1.

Start out by Checking the toilet paper roll for excess paper and removing it to not flaw the paint when applying it to the tube.

Step 2.

Take the tube and place it on the cardboard with the pencil trace the inside of the tube to make the coin shape insert which will be your end cap of your scroll repeat for second capping.

Step 3.

Turn on the hot glue gun and be careful when applying the glue to the inside of the tube cause it can burn you then apply the capping inside the tube so it fits snug against the glue and sits flush against the out side to make a complete enclosed end repeat for the other side of the tube.

Step 4.

Start by painting the ending caps white to simulate the paper. Then paint the edges of the tube with a red or green for the outer ring. After you have finished the outer rings then paint a square in the center of the tube large enough to fit the Kanji in later. After you have finished paint the rest of the excess tube a red or green being careful around the white and the rings on the edges. When you have finished painting let dry for 10 to 15 minutes then take black paint and apply the Kanji from the list displayed below and outline the box in black.
