How to make your tutorial item

Materials

• 1 Big peice of Poster board
• 1 Pencil
• 1 1/2" board of wood(your choice)
• 3 Silver strings to make chain
• 4-5 Bottles of Acrylic paint.
• Wood primer
• 1 small peice if plywood for paupu fruit

Tools

• Jigsaw
• Drill
• Dremel
• Sandpaper

Procedure

1. Draw the design onto poster board.

2. Transfer to the wood.

4. SAND LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!

5. Apply 2-3 coats of wood primer over the whole peice. DO NOT LET DROPS SETLE!!!! if they do it will cause bumps on the blade.

6. Begin the slow but steady process of painting the whole thing.Also paint the cut out of the paupu fruit. Start with white-yellow-light blue-purple-darker blue-black This saves your brush and won't darken the paint on the blade. (add coats as needed)

7. Braid the threads together to form the chain.Leave the ends open for thing to be attached to them. Then attach the Paupu to one end of the braid.

8. Drill a small hole in the bottom of the blade and tie the other end of the braid to the small hole.
DONE!
